Silver Queen Hotel

Located in the heart of Virginia City, the Silver Queen Hotel dates back to 1876 and features 28 rooms. It is the oldest hotel in Virginia City and also operates as a wedding chapel. The hotel is rumored to be haunted by a female spirit named Rosie, a young prostitute, who committed suicide in the late 1800s in Room #11. Rosie was found in the room's bathtub after slitting her own wrists. Her ghost has been known to rattle doorknobs, create phantom footsteps, and disembodied voices within the room where she died.
